On friday the 18th of May, Deshima Sounds is back with another convention edition, and this time at Anime2012. Ofcourse there also goes a story with this one.
Somewhere in a game world "Bits with a Bite", there was a huge final battle going on. While most of the group were almost out of mana, out of heatlh, they resorted to do one more final attack, to end the final boss of the game. Kid: "Come on gang, we almost defeated this mother of bitmonster, time for our power attack !". As the group combined their power with a ultimate tech, they hit the beast with all they got when fina......

Girl: "WHAT IS THIS, I ALMOST DEFEATED THAT THING... And why am I sitting in the dark ?"
It is the year 20XX, in a peaceful city somewhere in the east. Nothing much really happened in this city and life just went on how it should be. Takena Ubuno, a 17 year old girl, with a gaming passion almost finished the new and popular game "Bits With a Bite". She came across the final boss until there was a power down in her house. Not knowing, there was a small earthquake going on. After a minute or two, the power went up, and so did the tv. As she was fed up playing the game at the moment, she switched to her favorite channel. But somehow there's an emergency broadcast. Not caring for the broadcast, she switched to other channels. But as she did that, all the channels went into the emergency broadcast.
Broadcast: *WARNING WARNING* Citizens, please evacuate this city. We are under attack by a giant rampaging Cowking. The whole city is going to be destroyed by this foul beast. The army stood no chance and were powerless. This nation has sent its protector unit Mecha Marieke, and is holding ground for now.
When suddenly the battle took place just a mile of Takena, and sees how a part of her house got destroyed by the laserbeam from the giant cow. She could see the battle from her house, and saw with her own eyes how her peaceful city got destroyed. All she could do is pray for a miracle. At that moment, two hybrid transforming jets flew past her house blasting away it's missiles towards the cow. The giant cow grabbed the Mecha Marieke and Marieke got severely hit instead. Takena was surprised to see the Hybrids and looked to the other side. In the distance, there was help coming. In that distance, there was gigantic flying fortress. She was happy to see reinforcements coming in, but suddenly the flying fortress shot a disintegrating ray to the cow, blasting a blinding light almost in front of her house towards the cow. The giant cow got hit, but came out unharmed.
Meanwhile at the Flying Fortress "Rising Solar", commanded by the legendary space captain Deshima. During his space flight with the Rising Sun towards a new system, he came across an abandoned factory. In this factory, he claimed a prize which has been left there for grasps. The captain knew he didn't had many options left, and decided to use it's claimed prize as a last resort.
Captain: "Tell lieutenants MK*, Neodash Zerox and Remo-Con to suit up, and let them use the "Sound of Destruction". First mate: "But Captain, I decline with that order. We cannot let those rogue kamikaze pilots use the "Sound of Destruction !!". Captain: "They may be difficult to handle, but I trust those men with it. They defended us countless of times during my mission back then. You will obey and carry out my order". First mate: *switches on the intercom* "Lieutenant MK*, Neodash Zerox and Remo-Con, please get into your battle gear, prepare for battle and head straight to "The Sound of destruction"
Within a short period, the three lieutenants gathered up, hopped into the new arsenal of the fleet, and flew of with a alien made mecha "The Sound of Destruction". Back in the city, Takena saw something huge flying towards her and landed right in front of her doorstep. The Mecha started talking: "Hey you down there pretty missy, please get away from here, this place will turn into dust in no time", and flew away again, ending up with a bash towards the Giant Cow. The Mecha helped the Mecha Marieke up, and started to talk again: "Sorry we're late.. I hope you left us some more to party with".

In case you didn’t notice yet, there is a new Deshima Sounds party coming up. This time we’ll be rocking out at Anime 2012, which will be held 18th to 20th of May. On Friday evening, starting from 9 o’clock, we will be partying in the Ravelzaal of Theaterhotel Almelo, named Aniway Event Room for the weekend.
There is no entry fee if you’ve already got an Anime 2012 Friday or All-Weekend ticket. No entry otherwise, so be sure to get your ticket. All-Weekend is recommended, because the Friday Only visitors are to leave at 23:00 hrs.
And that would totally suck, because around that time our special guest from Japan will show up. Mr. Remo-Con, famous for a lot of music projects, will be joining us and make sure this will be a once in a lifetime party. We’re absolutely thrilled about this, and so should you!
Remo-Con is currently signed to Hellhouse Recordings, founded by Yoji (Biomehanika). On this label he produces a lot of techno tunes. Besides that he has also been part of eurobeat team Y&Co. for a long time, making mostly eurobeat and trance remixes of songs, non-stop albums and occasionally an original song (which were released on a full-length album a while ago). Remo-Con often played at what used to be the biggest club in Japan, Velfarre, until they closed down in 2007. If Remo-Con isn’t working on his own projects, he’s currently active with house formation Jäger Meisters as well as house remix team House Nation. Remo-Con is broadcasting weekly on his Block.FM web radio show Remote Control, so if you’re interested in more of him, tune in. If you like his music, you’ll be in luck – Remo-Con will be selling and signing his album at our event.

Can't Stop Falling In Love is trouwens niet van Y&co., lieve schat. Naoki is de boosdoener bij deze track.
Ik moet nog even uitzoeken wat het allemaal gaat worden. Het normale leven, zoals gewoonlijk, is weer erg druk geweest de laatste tijd (maar ook met hele toffe dingen, zoals te zien op Anime 2012 ;D!!)
