Hello everyone,

i am looking for some nice people which would be willing to spend an afternoon on a weekend somewhere in Amsterdam to meet and talk about Anime, Manga and Games or whatever could come to your mind.
Unfortunately i am unable to speak dutch but i can read it.

Would be nice if someone is willing to meet somewhere, even though the weather isn't that good currently. I am usually free on weekends but the next 2 weekends are filled with cleaning on saturday and another convention the following weekend. Besides those 2 exceptions i am usually always hidden in my room after work to watch anime or play games.

If anyone is interested, i would be happy to socialize as often as possible.

We could even meet in Amsterdam Zuidoost.

That would be nice. I am not really familiar with the whole area of Amsterdam, so i am usually relying on Google maps to navigate myself through the city ^^

I checked my text but i couldnt find the passage you are refering to.
Usually my english is above average but i am human after all, so even i make mistakes
And yes, i am german but i would say its easier to communicate with the majority of people in english.

in amsterdam zuid-oost you have the foodstrip on the tafelbergweg.
there is a KFC and a burger king where you can sit and talk

Who refers to people. That and which refer to things and groups.

I know that area. Its the stretch between the Bijlmer Arena and the Alber Heijn, where you can go to the Amsterdamse Poort, right?

I learned in school that which can also refer to people.
The weirdest example we got were 2 girls in a witch costume and they were identical twins and the text below the image said "Which is Which?"
Thats why i am using it in that way.
Maybe a reason could be that my english is more influenced by american english, rather than american english. I grew up with a lot of american kids, so i have been clearly influenced by them at an early stage

And maybe, really depends on the date, sundays is bad cause i live near roosendaal so its at least a 2 hour trip for me.

Ow about burgerking and KFC's, i doubt they would be happy if we bring in a full sized meeting there for a long time.
Its ok if we just order eat and go out again.
but if you really want to discuss about anime and stuff you would need more time.

considering your german it should be pretty doable.

doesnt matter over there:P im also in to cars and every friday we meet there so there`s around 50 cars with ppl who eat at the BK or KFC as long as you buy something they dont complain.(we had a 304ppl meeting 2weeks ago:P)

Easier said than done. Due to my job i am moving very often and in the last 4 years i lived in 3 different countries.
Therefore it is kind of pointless to start learning a language, because i dont know when i will move again.
I am happy enough that i can speak english which kept me alive in the past 4 years.
And no i am not really happy about moving that often but my industry is so fast paced that i have no other choice than moving in order to stay competitive.
I would say a saturday would be the most reasonable time to meet.
In that case i could make some time this saturday afternoon and clean sunday.
But i am sure that this is too late in order to get people to come.
After that i would only be able to have time in december on the weekends, what would make more sense in terms of planning.

Well, for those who dont mind very short notice meetups, i would be up for this saturday, the 20th and meeting at the Arena.
For people with a busy schedule i would say the 4th of December, which is also a saturday, so it should be fine for the majority.

Thats whats currently spinning in my head, mashing other plans against the inner wall of my skull to avoid further confusion for planning. Yes, i know this sounds pretty messed up and i think it would look really bad if that would ever happen.

Edit: As a meeting time i would say 1PM should be a fair time. I enjoy sleeping on a saturday way to much to get myself moving before 11

I'm definitely up for a meeting. Amsterdam's not too far from here, count me in!
